My Birthday - Please Help
evangotlib:
My birthday is this Wednesday and I don’t need a damn thing.
So I hooked up with the NYC Food Bank to run a Food Bank Fund Raise. My goal is to raise $2,500 between now and the end of the day on Wednesday, November 30th.
I’d be grateful if you clicked and donated. This is going to be a very tough winter for a record number of NYC children who do not have enough to eat.
Thanks...

tl;dr: This guy’s humor book about werewolves was found on the scene of a possible crime, and by watching his book get grossly misrepresented, the author discovered how equally misrepresented the alleged criminals were. And not just by “lamestream media” but by “progressive” sites like Gawker.

Kit: You should call it the Holden Caufield.
Kit: You should call it the Molly - what's Molly Ringwald's character in "Sixteen Candles"? You should call it the Molly Ringwald because she's a ginger and her cherry isn't popped. ZING!
Kit: That wasn't funny?
Me: I'm just waiting for you to stop.

I can’t say enough about these 3 programs. They have changed the way I compile and organize ideas in writing (and life) and also how I collaborate with people.

too drunk to remember
Me: Let's watch 'Parks & Rec.'
-: We did last night, don't you remember?
Me: ...no?
-: Good. Then you were probably also too drunk to remember the crying.
Me: I cried?
-: Uh, no. Not you.
Me: Oh, right! YOU cried!
-: Shit.
Me: At a Christmas commercial.
-: It was so heartfelt and sentimental!

spuntino asked: Hey Rebecca! Quick question for you. I am getting married in a year in Brooklyn – hooray! I need a good recommendation for a restaurant who: a) can accommodate 50 people seated on a Sunday night b) could do a family-style big shared proteins/vegetables dishes and c) has a great wine list. (Optional d: is made by crazy passionate people, not a huge soulless restaurant group.) We strongly...
