I know nothing about Harry Potter. Literally nothing. But, thanks to this list, I now know how to make butter beer.
Thanks, blip! <3 you guys.
This week: BUTTERBEER!
We are super sad to say goodbye to our good friends Harry, Hermione, and Ron, but sneaking a flask or two of this sweet, frothy drink into the Deathly Hallows premiere will dull the pain. Especially since we added a shot of bourbon to each glass.
Click the player above to watch the full episode for this easy, unhealthy, celebratory drink. Accio mug!
And, hey, why not reblog the crap out of this video and make us feel super good about ourselves? You know you want to. You know we love you.

50/50 on the hipster scale.
This is basically what goes on inside my head on the daily (omitting puppies and food, natch).

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer set to the score of Inception: seamless and awesome.
Just got this photo via press release, and all I can say is I WANT TO GO TO THERE. This is a shot of the new Harry Potter ride being built at the Universal Orlando Resort. I’m such a sucker for themed attractions.
“Set to open in Spring 2010 only at Universal Orlando Resort, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will feature multiple themed attractions, shops and a restaurant.”
Mmm yep, ditto.
My parents are a 2.5 hr drive to Orlando. Definitely hitting this up this spring. Y’all are welcome to join.
Treatment. Consider it now COPYRIGHTED.

As Professor Trelawney tells us in Book 6, whenever 13 people gather, the first to leave the group will be the first to die. In chapter 5, 13 of the survivors of Voldemort’s attack (Harry, Ron, Hermione, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Fred, George, Bill, Fleur, Ginny, Hagrid, Tonks, and Lupin) all drink firewhiskey together. Lupin is both the first to finish his glass (he had “drained his glass in one”) and the first to leave the gathering
This also happens in the fifth book, where 13 people gather at Grimmauld Place and Sirius is the first to rise from the table.
via (mnet).
NOT TRUE. Look a page or two ahead in the Grimmauld Place scene: Ginny has already left the table and is throwing butterbeer caps on the floor for Crookshanks.
